Yeah, but isn't anything they build after 8/31/21 going to be considered MY22? I swear someone looked me in the eyes and told me that was the case. Went through a door since then, so I'm probably mistaken.
I don't know that that is the cutoff for model year change. Not it sure what is, but if it's 8/31,Ford's projections would mean 35k.

Many times dealership management will keep the sales people in the dark.

Are you talking about how many reservations will convert to actual orders... or how many Bronco's Ford will be able to built for 21MY, your post was confusing on that point.

If you're meaning my first post, I'm talking about Broncos being actually built. Don't think Ford will know of the conversion rate until end of March when conversion timeline ends.

I just had a couple C8 vets built in Nov 2020 that were 2020's, so i don't think there is a rule that anything after 8/31 needs to be the following model year...we would need to find out when start up/Job 1 would be for 2022's to determine

That is what I thought, but the thread title is 'only 40,000 conversions' instead of builds, so hence the confusion.

Point taken. I just edited the title of this thread in hopes that it clears up potential confusion moving forward.
