Ford Bronco Sasquatch Final Gear Ratio 21_Bronco_Prelim_Tech_Specs_1

Someone who's smart please educate me. The preliminary spec sheet lists all Sasquatch final drive ratios as 4.7:1

Apparently Sasquatch is auto only.

The Badlands manual is also 4.7:1, same as Sasquatch (auto only). Badlands also comes with the advanced transfer case.

I'm left to deduce that Sasquatch package will also force an upgrade to advanced 4x4, and with an auto transmission that somehow has the same combination of ratios to match the Badlands manual final drive ratio.

This doesn't make any sense to me.

How is this stuff calculated? Can someone show the math on all this? And is Ford marketing estranged and not on speaking terms with Ford engineering right now?

Got it. I thought it was a calculated number based off all the ratios.
It's not labeled very well.

The Badlands gets the 4.70 gears with the manual because it comes with 33in tires.

Does anybody know what the difference is between the 2 Auto gear ratios on the Outer Banks? Is one with the optional 4Auto GOAT mode?

I believe that the first is the standard with the auto... the 2nd is if you option the Advanced 4x4 which gives you the 4A.

Then of course regardless, if you toss in Sasquatch you end up with 4.7 regardless.

Ok, cool. That's what I thought. I'm not sure why I called 4A a GOAT mode. Lol Thanks!

I just got 37" tires and am researching regearing to get some mpg as well as some others things back. Has anyone heard of maybe a good brand or even anyone doing this yet?

Spicer is making 5.13 and 5.38 very soon...the rear is available NOW and they will have the fronts available available next month...right now they are playing with ford's program team to allow the ratios inside the computer to accept the 5.38 ratios...this is so the shift points are correct and the speedo and odometer are still accurate.
So after the new gears youl want the Ford-Spicer gear-tune, or adjust it yourself in forscan.
