BUMMER.

This actually happened to my uncle years ago. Ordered a 2003 F-series to pull his horse trailer and cars (he restores vehicles). It was the last year their offered the 7.3L Diesel engine. Truck was scrapped before it even reached him, and the only path forward was building him a 2004 model year. Ended up canceling his order and finding a used truck with the 7.3L.

Definitely re-order. Luckily for you the 2021 and 2022 Broncos are largely the same, and priority 1 basically puts you at the front of the line.
He didn't get a 6.0L? Bullet 155MM Artillery shell dodged. 😅

I’m not sure of your financial situation, but if your able I’d demand a raptor allocation. Ford screwed up big time and you should have some special treatment. I’d hope granger goes to bat for you.

I just received this from Granger Motors. Needless to say, I'm still trying to process this crap. Anyone have suggestions?

Yeah, I’d get a new order in ASAP - they are scheduling tomorrow I think.

Pretty standard procedure when vehicles are damaged either at assembly or in delivery.

There are some draconian laws about the types of damages and having to scrap the car (sell it at auction with an exempt VIN that is 100% exempt from ever being driven on public roads, this is how you build cheap race cars, BTW). Every manufacturer is subject to these and it happens.

Does it suck? Absolutely! And i'm not trying to beguile you into being happy with the situation. But you were NOT going to want to take delivery of whatever pieces were going to be delivered.

Get that shiny new rig, and get some updated kit for it!!!!! Ford *should* be pulling your order out of rotation and directly choosing it to get built immediately. This is another example of why 100% of vehicles aren't made in reservation order. Real life happens on planet Earth.

Same here, slightly different story... And 7 months before we found out, no thanks to Ford. Now, we can't get acknowledgment of the new order. Feels like I've been here before.

If it was Job None, they would have given it to you no matter what was wrong with it.

I can't help but think you are dodging a bullet, though at this point, i'm certain it doesn't feel that way.

The Priority Code 1 is not given away freely. It comes at a price. I'd think you'd see the replacement Bronco pretty darn quick, all things considered.

On the brighter side!!!!
Any interest in that new Wildtrak suspension package? .... or the Everglades?
You'd be the first one on the block to get one of those!!!

Honestly, at this point given everything you’ve been through, just wait for the MY23 announcements. You will have more options and be one of the highest priorities in Ford‘s system. Another plus is that maybe you just avoided receiving a lemon. Bronco is having serious quality control issues. Waiting until MY23 means several of those production issues may be resolved by then.

Are you by chance interested in the Heritage Edition?

Sounds an awful lot like mine except I was damaged in transit.

This is common with all car brands. Cars get damaged in transit, if minor they can fix, but alot of times they get scrapped. In the news there was a train accident and in the picture there was multiple bronco's, maybe yours was one of those?

In the 80's my auto shop got a free Toyota because Toyota could not fix it. They never sold it, it was bad off the assembly line. Had electrical issues and failed to start so they unable to load it. If someone had ordered it they would have to make a new car for them.
