It seems like shocks are leaking or corroded. What do you think is this normal or definitely look into warranty?

Do you think ford will warranty the replacement?

I don't see any evidence that they are leaking, though it is hard to discern with the photo mashed up into individual quadrants. There is plenty of evidence of the paint being chipped and rust forming on the unprotected metal. Why would you think that would be a warranty item?

Those shocks are garbage, replaced my 1st one at 42k miles after it rusted and all the fluid leaked out. Once the others started going I replaced with different shocks.

Some of your pics do show what appears to be the fluid leaking out. I've heard some people have got warranty replacements, and some haven't. If you want to go that route contact the dealer and see if they go for it. But my advice would be to swap that garbage out for something better.

Mine looked identical the day I drove it off the lot and haven't worsened. It's been over a year.

I don't know why the pictures keep uploading like that. Yes there's rust and small leak. How long does the shocks normally last. I never had a car need new ones until after 70k 100k miles. I wonder how people got it warranted

Typically they last a lot longer than 25k miles. But these (as many people have stated), were built to Ford's specs. They are cheaply made and there are countless threads on here about people having this same issue. Quite a few even had the entire reservoir pop off.

Since I have the Sasquatch package I just went with the Bilstein 6100's (no reservoir), they work with the squatch springs and I think I ended up getting them for under $1,000 off ebay. No problems since.

Well rust isn’t warrantable.
And that isn’t a leak, so it wouldn’t be covered at this point.

If the reservoirs fall off like many do and you’re still under 3/36, then it would be a warrantable issue.

Down the road the reservoirs could start falling off. Once they fall out it becomes easier to warranty but I expect a lot of owners will have reservoirs falling off out of warranty once these vehicles get older. It's unfortunate but these shocks are designed extremely cheaply. I'm surprised Bilstein would even put their name on these given the quality but it's pretty clear Ford really put the screws to suppliers for these vehicles as Webasto still can't produce quality MIC tops for the price Ford wants to pay.

Meh whats the big deal they are "weeping" a little fluid. Probably no effect to performance. Likely they would last another 10-20k before you feel something.
Do you know what the service life is for these? Know when they are recomended to replace?
When you do replace, just get some Bilstein 5100 shocks. Heck, you can even lift it an inch or 2 with those and stock springs!

I got the rear right shock replaced under warranty at around 15k miles. The request was approved without asking any questions.
