I did a similar setup with Diode Dynamics SSC1 Pro's--which appear to have about the same output as these 4Bangers in Floor Pattern. I'm not convinced they are bright enough to piss anyone off, but it makes me feel good to know that I can at least try.

Disclaimer: I've only used them once, when they guy on my bumper was flipping me the double birds.

Are yours tied into the reverse gear too? Sometimes I feel a little self conscious about having such bright reverse lights in congested/well-lit places.
No, only on aux 3 when needed.

SDHQ bracket with Baja Design lights for the chase, Baja Designs Pods on the rear tire, and bumper lights that came with DV8 I have not changed out yet because I'm broke.

"people who don't shut their high beams off". That's not an excuse to blind them from illegal road lights. Risk getting someone killed. I hope they ensure you get a ticket, or better yet, beat your......
I thought about this also, maybe not that extreme, which leads me to a question. What is a good color for chase lights, during snow, dust, etc.

My thoughts, white light for backing up only. Red to match tail lights while driving? Or Yellow which might be more noticeable in snow, dust, etc? Personally I would not point them straight. back but rather towards the ground a bit, so as to not blind whoever is behind me. At an angle that if someone is blinded then they are too close. Thoughts and suggestions?

Nobody makes a chase light that works with a spare tire delete yet?
1 or 2 flush mounted lights would be pretty rad - depending on the depth of the lights you were using.

We recently did some flush mounted Diode Dynamics Rock Lights into the side of a customer's bumper on this truck and it turned out pretty killer. Wish I had pictures.

I do have some Baja Designs in my rear bumper, but they are not chase lights.

I sounds want some up a little higher perhaps.

DV8 now includes a pod light mount with their spare tire delete kit that mounts into the hole left of the plate mount as seen here. I'd contact them and see if they'd be willing to send you one.

Now, personally, I don't care for the look of this as it seems like an after thought.

If it were my truck, I'd drill into the top plate of spare tire delete on either side of the integrated 3rd brake light and mount a pair of S2 Sport amber lights there.

I have a couple Morimoto 4bangers in my spare connected to AUX 3 switch. Work well for seeing behind me, and people who don't shut their high beams off.

Anything you used to support the light brackets and the plastic spare tire carrier mold?

The carrier is aluminum with a plastic shell. So no, drilled and bolted.

Notice the flush mount lights I installed on the roof platform. Rear lights are automatically activated when put into reverse. Rear lights and side lights can be activated with AUX switch.

Thanks guys for the replies... definitely more ways than one to skin a cat. Here is my solution.
Two HELLA Black Magic 6.2 inch light bars tucked in on either side of the hitch. Drilled & mounted straight to the bumper with a couple of large washers as backing plates on the backside. I still need to get them wired... will be on AUX 6 switch only. I wanted the lights in the back to be bumper mounted so they would also provide lighting directly in the rear area with the tailgate open or closed. If these don't "tickle my fancy" I'll definitely go with a couple of flush mount lights.
