My understanding is that these won't fit standard rock rails, they have a special aluminum rail. I have these from Mabett and I like them, very high quality cast aluminum great finish. They are not as sleek as the Ford ones.

The installation instructions seem to say they will work.....

I’m not sure about that. Aren’t the instructions saying to remove the rock rails entirely and then bolt the step immediately to a steel bar underneath the vehicle?
Hmm....see your point... instead of a hoop step front and rear, they show a whole assembly...so it might be a whole new rock rail... That is unfortunate.

Just got my AR Magnum steps in the mail this morning. Installed the driver side before the wife drove to the store. I'm no longer in trouble for spending the money, she loves them. And I know there won't be any rust issues like the steel steps sold by other companies. I'll install the passenger side when she gets back with my sushi, lol.
When did you order yours? I'm Jan 17th can't wait for delivery!

Was looking at the steps but then decided to use the same “ bolt on method” for a full length board. Two reasons, makes getting in and out of the rear section easier while not having to search for the step, and I have greater access to all things on the roof of the vehicle instead of just from a located step. IAG is the maker I went with. Not the most inexpensive, but made here which is always good.

Great actually. I was going to replace them with AR nerf steps, but I don’t see a reason. No rust seen, and they work great with para cord grab handles. For the price A+ if you like the look. Stored outside in New Orleans.

thank you, can’t justify 600-1000 for the other brands

Ford is making OEM removable steps, but I don't know the part number. My dealer is prepping my Bronco for delivery and asked if I wanted them to go ahead and install them. I've decided to wait and look around at aftermarket ones too. At 6'1" I won't need them and I'm heading out on an extended adventure very soon after I get it - they'll mostly be for shorter relatives.
