I have an AC chase in my garage and decided to make use of it.

I built a simple frame out of 2x4's to hold the front two pieces of the hardtop. (I will be adding a second shelf below for the mid section hardtop)

for anyone interested:

72.75" Wide overall

The Vertical Opening for the top to slide in is 6"

Each section is 31" wide for each top piece

Happy to help any one looking to do something similar

Nice DIY job. That's a good use of your garage space.
.
Did you consider using felt or carpeting on the boards to avoid scratching the tops? As the pine dries out, it will become more abrasive.
Or you could store the panels in their storage bags. It will also help keep them clean while stored.

And I wouldn't do pull-ups after curls.

Very cool, nicely done.

You have the bones of a marketable product.
