Slippery To Normal Goat mode

I've noticed that when shifting from normal to Slippery, it automatically shifts to 4H, but when shifting back to Normal, it stays in 4H? Should it automatically shift back to 2H?

I have 4A, but it seems to switch back to 2H from slippery. When I switch to sport, it also switches to 4A, but if I switch back to normal it stays in 4A.......

Mine switches the transfer case when changing mode via the GOAT dial. I have noticed if I park it in Sport or Slippery in 4A and don't confirm I want to stay in that mode on restart, it will change the Mode back to Normal, but will not change the transfer case setting.

Ive noticed if I manually switch it back to Normal it returns to 2H but if I dont reply Yes or No to staying in slippery or sport it will return to normal but stay in 4A.

Wouldn't it just be easier to press 4A or 4H? Sometimes these goat modes seem redundant. I get the shift point changes in Sport mode but slippery is straight up 4H right?

Not 4H, but 4A. Also changes throttle and steering response with the GOAT modes (more response in Sport, less in Slippery). Basically the same as manually switching to 4A and give it more or less gas, lol.

EDIT: It does seem to do 4H if you do not have 4A available. I did not think it would do that.

I have the fancy pants 4A, but either way, going to the Slippery mode (vs clicking into 4H/4A) also reduces throttle response (a la Eco mode). I just click into 4A/H rather than deal with the lagginess of turning GOAT mode dial.

Goat modes adjust so many parameters that can not be achieved by just pressing buttons..... Shift, throttle, traction control, brakes, steering, etc.

Exactly!!!! I love the GOAT modes. They totally change the vehicle based on your mood at the time. I love BAJA 2H in manual shift mode!!!!! Sooo fun!!!!
