Don’t cross a black cat’s path

Average miles per year in US is 13,500miles. Remind me in 20 months to talk to you at my 30k service
I’ve got 18k on my 2017 Wrangler JKU, bought new. I guess I’d have to check in in about 8-9 years when I get my Bronco.

You people bragging that you have no issues at 2k miles crack me up. Talk to me when you have at least 30k. 👍🤣
Are you a troll or do you have legit concerns?

Seems like you just want to complain.

Ford should have stuck with the 2.7 that has been in F150's for years. Mine has been flawless.

Bro, take a Xanax and go to bed.
How many comments like this are you going to post? We get it your an internet tough guy. Sorry I don't want to piss away $45k or so on a rig and have to deal with problems and have it sitting in a shop after waiting to get it for a year and a half of more.

The die hards are definitely getting but hurt in this thread. 🤣

Because if there's one thing Chrysler is known for, it's reliability.

Wait....
Had the 392 in my Scat Pack Challenger. It's one of the best engines ever made!!

You had a 392 and your worried about a 2.7?
🤣🤣🤣🤣

Maybe the Bronco isn't for your. I would suggest something along the lines of a corolla or civic for you.

I would be hesitant to make any modifications that would give Ford an excuse to not honor the warranty.

The stellantis bashing seems unfair. I had a grand Cherokee with the 5.7 and it ran forever, until it ran out of gas, because I couldn’t shut it off, because the transmission sensors wouldn’t recognize the vehicle was in park so you couldn’t shut it off. So don’t pick on their engines you mean ole internet.....

I am on my 3rd Wrangler now with zero mechanical issues. The only real warranty work was to replace batteries. I have had THREE new batteries paid for by Warranty, including the one in our current JLU on the third day of ownership. I think mechanically, Jeeps are sound, but they use bargain basement garbage batteries lol.

2k on mine and no problems. I love it. Bought the extended warranty so I should be good.
If you don't mind me asking, how much did the extended warranty run you. I've heard that it is "negotiable".

This kinda of reminds me of the clutch issue with the 6sp (also a huge gripe about steering stabilizers) JL's. I bought my JLUR in april of '18, put 52K miles on it, 37's,4" lift, wheeled it, blah blah blah and never had an issue, while stock ones were on the forum talking about the clutch caught their jeep on fire, or it has death wobble. Now that JLUR is at a ford dealer for sale, while I'm waiting on my bronco. ALL brands have these issues and it's the luck of the draw really. Hope you make a decision that you are happy with, that's really all that matters.

Is there any major difference between the 2.7 in the bronco and the 2.7 in the F150?

I think if there was a major problem with the 2.7 it would have already been known because of all the f150’s out there with this engine.
