We use F150s for work that have the 2.7 in them and they have been flawless for almost 200,000 miles. However, we break the engines in gently and change the oil early and often. We also make sure they’re up to full operating temperature before we run them hard. I’ve been doing that for 40 years and I’ve never had an engine problem or failure of any kind with my vehicles. I’m a boomer so this simple message will probably fall on some deaf ears. Good luck.

Replaced front drive shaft (clunking sound when taking foot off brake at a light), still clunking but I think that’s just the way it is.

Replaced front camera, fine now.

GY Territory MT are wildly underrated. 52 lbs. and they’ve not let me down in many different situations, so new set coming during the Black Friday sales.

The transmission shifts hard once in a blue moon, glad I got the 150k warranty because the electronics or tranny or both will definitely go out before then.

Just hit 25K on my Big Bend 2.7. Have had it 14 Months. Have a few recall notices that I need to take care of, otherwise my only problems have been fixing squeeks and rattles.
