Hey All

If I end up pulling the trigger on changing my order from a hard top to a soft top to get my Bronco sooner, anyone have thoughts on the following:

1. What is the process for changing to a hard top when hard tops become available? Is this possible?
2. What will the cost for MIC hardtop be?
3. Other Pros/Cons for making the switch?

Ultimately, I want the MIC hardtop as this will be my daily driver. I like the soft top, but I would switch to hardtop as soon as I can.

Thanks for your thoughts!

1: something like 16 screws and some muscle, best to have a friend to help
2: nobody knows yet, shipping will be expensive for such a bulky thing and if you care for the rear wiper and defrost you'll have to add the wiring etc as well, so pricy
3: if you ultimately want the MIC, stay with that, unless you like dealing will all the above and selling or storing the soft top.

Don’t give in and look into the light. Stick with the MIC.

Meh, I went dual tops to soft only. The only thing I really wanted was a little extra security; being in the South I don't think winter is a big deal.

My real concern is how many bugs will I get with a 21 vs 22 MY if my order is pulled. As a late October res, I'm OK waiting a year but I feel like it would be closer to 20 months if I didn't swap.

Lastly, dual tops were an $1800 add-on, I'll pay for a hard top later even if it costs closer to $3k

I’m in same boat but switched to soft top. I’ll add MIC later and likely be stuck with a non working wiper defrost unless theres an oem harness produced or an aftermarket version...

Yeah, rear wipers are generally garbage and I'm not going to see much out the rearview mirror, defroster or not, with a big 35" tire in the way.
