Solution to those who want to acknowledge fellow Broncos on the road!

There has been a lot of debate about a "Bronco Wave" or getting "Bucked" similar to Jeeps. I am personally against both of those. If I see a fellow Bronco on the road, I'll just give them a nod of acknowledgment for their great vehicle buying decision.

I had a Jeep LJ for a while and always gave, and usually received a subtle wave or a couple fingers up off the steering wheel. Why not just do that? It's not copying or ripping that crowd off... I also have a 1966 VW bus and have done the same thing for decades. Old hippy bus owners have been telling me for years they did that already back in the 50s.

My 2dr Badlands is getting built this week! Got my window sticker yesterday and plan on continuing that tradition...unless of course no one does it back. Lol

It's an enthusiast vehicle...and people wave. It's not a Jeep thing; it's an FJ thing, a Gen 1 Bronco thing, a motorcycle thing. Do 20 something girls in their white Jeeps wave? not really...and non-enthusiasts who bought Broncos because they thought it was an "SUV" won't either. For those in which it is a lifestyle and hobby..who take the top off, go off road, mod the vehicle: they wave at each other.,

I just give a nod or When I see other Broncos. More than half don’t acknowledge tho so I find myself doing it less and less. That’s what I loved when I had my 1963 Nova, felt like I was part of a community. But most don’t seem to care so much anymore (not a huge fan of the bucked thing lol)
