I don't get the concern over this . Ford is at least working with the aftermarket unlike some of the other automakers . You'll be able to buy a good tune in a few months at the most .

Not to the degree the new models along with Sync 4 have been locked down. Without encryption keys, tuners can't get access to modifications. Your left with only intake and exhaust mods..

HP tuners will get it figured out. At worst, well have to swap the ECM for an unlocked one or have your ECM sent in and unlocked by them. Same as they do for a lot of the new GM stuff (same issue).
