Why the hell can we select Pandora or the Bronco Trail App while driving but when you want Andriod Auto or Apple Car Play you have to stop the vehicle? Seriously? WTF Ford? *sigh* Software engineers and lawyers...smh...that is all.

No habla Android. But my iPhone automatically connects CarPlay via bluetooth every time I start the Bronco.

And, even on occasions when it fails to do that - I can start CarPlay even while hauling ass 80mph through a school zone with a bottle of whiskey in one hand and the other on the touch screen.

No stop required. Occasionally refuses to connect but that’s its own situation. 95% of the time Apple CarPlay works as it should for me.

I have no issues starting Andriod Auto at all and can manipulate every screen I need while driving.

On your phone, you need to check a box to start AA automatically....maybe that's all you need.

Only time I can't connect to Android Auto is when app updates are pending. Have to shut car off, get out, lock doors, get back in and restart. Mine also won't connect while moving. So much fun when triangulation happens from one tower to the next. This is more Google's fault than Ford.

I couldn't do anything on the screen today in Android auto, basically like is was frozen in motion and stopped. I just use phone to control it

I wish it never loaded, it's rather just use Bluetooth from phone

My Android Auto connects automatically but if for some reason it doesn't or if it disconnects once I am moving, it will not allow me to select it until I stop. I also noticed something even stranger when changing my tone settings of the stereo the other day. I could select Treble/Mid-range/Bass but when I tried to change the Fader it popped up the message "Some features blocked while driving" or something to that nature. Dumb.

I do t have to stop to select Apple Car Play. Not sure how you’re attempting to access it while driving but if you tap on the “apps” at the bottom a series of apps will pop up. Scroll through them until you see Apple Car Play and touch it. Should work

I do just everyonce in a while the connection drops and I wil have to come to a complete stop to get it going again.
