IF YOU HAVE A SASQUACH - AND WANT TO DELETE THE SPARE :

- WHAT IS THE SMALLEST THING YOU CAN GET TO KEEP YOU ROLLING?

* SO YOU DONT NEED TO WAIT FOR A TOW TRUCK IF YOU GET A PUNCTURE.

1) PLUG KIT, JACK & AIR PUMP
2) FIX A FLAT x 10 cans
3) A 35" SPARE TIRE, behind the rear seats.. (hahahahhahhahaaaa)
4) UBER

5) WHAT ELSE???

Have fun with that 15" long bracket/camera pole sticking out the back.

Asking if you dont want to wait for a tow.
A similar experience to what you would have if you dragged around the 35" tire on your tail gate.

Carry an axe and use it to chop down a 35” diameter tree. Make your own wheel. 😉

Ask yourself why have a spare delete purposely leaving you SOL?
Because its ugly, heavy, and 99.99% of the time you don't need it.
Honestly, many cars come without a spare now days.
It feels like its included for "the rugged look" - as in: " I might be far far from civilization and get a flat!!"
If you are going out into the wilderness, by all means, bolt a spare up.
If you are daily driving, I dont see the point of hauling that thing around.

You have three options:
  1. Fix your flat tire
  2. Replace your flat tire
  3. Depend on someone else to do #1 or #2 for you
FYI: If you go the #2 route, you’ll still need to put the flat in your vehicle if you’ve removed the spare tire rack.

Thanks for the insights - I guess the question is:
- What compact tool combination is best for option #1?
- Is there a compact alternative for option #2? That can live inside the vehicle.
* Sorry if the original post was unclear...

If you intend on removing the spare you missed the point of the Bronco. Get out there.

If you are cool with relying on a cell phone and help from others whenever there is a problem, you may be the problem.

Also that weight off the back keeps the front from diving when you send it. 😝

That's a loaded question. We are assuming the tire can be repaired.

A plug kit is good to 1/4" hole. Then problems start.

Fix a flat, will destroy the TPMS sensor.

There is not a 35" compact spare I'm aware of.

Buy a cute cover with a big unique special snowflake on it.
