Battery low voltage.... AC on max trying to keep up. Looking at your location I think y'all are having a heat wave up there no? Down here in South/Central TX. mine doesn't work until October lol.

I've noticed mine stops working when the doors are off. I keep the doors and roof off from May until Sept/Oct depending on temps. Once I put the doors back on, it starts working again. Not sure if that is the actual cause but I have never had an issue with it not working when the doors are on. It is annoying and would be great to turn it off permanently without an adapter though.

You can always just change the right side of the gauge cluster and go to Trip/Fuel -> Auto Start Stop, and it will show you if it is on, or why it's disabled. Ambient Air temp, charging, or heating/cooling requirements is what I have seen on mine.

I just learned something.

I just checked. The message stated auto start stop is on due to outside temperature.
Really? Seems like an odd reason. If it's that hot, you'd have AC on, which knocks it out anyway. And if it's not hot enough for AC, what the heck?

no problem! I always thought it was interesting that it went away with the doors off. first removal of the year it works for maybe the rest of that day. after that, it does not work until I put them back on.

Hello All,
My apologies if this was already covered. I have 2022 Outer banks non SAS 2.7 with high package.
MY start stop has not been working for 2 days. I did not press the button to deactivate it. I am not using the Head or AC.
While I like that it is not working any more, I am concerned that this may affect something else in the Bronco.
Has this happened to anybody else??
Hi there! Will you send us a message with your VIN and your local Ford dealer? I can look into things on my end.

The volt gauge may read high when running but the battery may be somewhat discharged anyway. also I think it may disable with high ambient temps which you guys in the east are having now, right? Put some miles on it to charge and see what happens. About the time I think mine has quit it starts again, rats.
Negative on the high heat.

Not so sure about the heat thing. Mine is working with ambient temps above 100F unless I turn it off.

Um... Congratulations.

It won't activate if the battery is low, current draw is high, or the engine is not at temperature. Or (in theory) if MAX AC is on.

On an F-150 it won't activate if the vehicle detects a trailer. Don't know if that logic is in the Bronco since we don't have a Tow mode.

Wife's F-150 will turn off when it's 118 out. It's infuriating.
Based on what GJPTennis mentioned it appears to be because the doors are off.
Does anybody else have the doors removed and experiencing the same issue with the Auto Stop not working?
