Very few competitors have anything even close to stock...I don't follow this race. What other notable stock vehicles have completed it?
But there were several EBs that finished!

They are offroad traction board. They're on every jeep in the mall parking lotwhat the orange thing with 1000 bolts that looks like a lifeguard thing from baywatch?
You think?I'm pretty sure it wasnt a stock Ranger.
Probably because the 33 inch tires cause less strain on the suspension; they are lighter and smaller, which makes for less part-breaking leverage.Just out of curiosity, why wouldnโt Ford run the Wildtrak in this race? Isnโt that the model they say is built for speed in the desert?
The 33 BFG is heavier than a 33 Goodyear and almost the weight of a 35 Goodyear, I had this same thought and researched it.Probably because the 33 inch tires cause less strain on the suspension; they are lighter and smaller, which makes for less part-breaking leverage.
But I was just watching a video of the finish line (on the other thread we've had going all week) and the Ranger that beat the Bronco was literally being pushed across the finish line because it had broken down before the end of the race! You think?
Heres a $350,000 ranger. So a last gen Ranger bookend'd a stock new gen Bronco? Well hell, maybe I should just spend my $50k on my 2002 then.
Did anyone that has a wildtrack on order read the part about the ruts and rocks? Just wondering
Do people still not understand that Wildtrak is just squatch+2.7 with an appearance package?
Made my decision of getting a Badlands Non-SAS feel a lot betterIt's nice to see a "stock" 4Dr BL that Ford hasn't sas'd.
