Thanks for the reply. When you applied it, did you just use paper towel and wipe the whole thing? Just got my bronco about 3 weeks ago and it already has the noise. Hoping this fixes it. I had my wife sit in the back(her request) and she said she thought it was coming from inside the tailgate door.
Thatā€™s my issue, and many otherā€™s as well. Sounds like Ford under-engineered these and the rivets are popping.

My Bronco (4dr hardtop sas) just started making this metallic popping/clicking noise while driving on roads that aren't perfectly smooth. It started at about 900 miles on the car. It is constant and it is driving me insane. I cannot reproduce the sound while the car is parked. I have no one to drive me around while I sit in the back but I'm pretty sure it's the tailgate. I've read about various tailgate noises and wondering if this type of noise has happened to anyone.
Happened to me, but it ended up being issues with the soft top.

Iā€™m going to get some Krytox to use on the tailgate seal and also the MIC seals periodically.

Do you guys recommend the .5 ounce or 2 ounce size? .5 ounces seems so small, but Iā€™m not sure how far a little tube goes.

Thanks for any advice.

.5 oz enough for 2 applications, each 3 mos. apart, with some to spare.
