Hello all,

I recently purchased an EZ Flate C.A.S.E Portable Dual Air Compressor. As the name suggests, this is a portable compressor that comes in a case. The case and compressor weigh about 25 lbs. I want to figure out a way to carry it on the inside of my tailgate. If you have any suggestions on how to attach it to the inside of my tailgate so that when it is needed, I can lift it off and use it, I would be grateful. But, the main question is, will the additional 25 lbs require me to reinforce the tailgate hinges? If so, which reinforcement would you suggest?

By the way, I have a 2022 Wildtrak with 35" tires.

thanks in advance.

Well most of the questions I can't answer.

BUT I posted the official equipment install guide HERE. It includes the weight ratings for the rear tailgate door, which you can use to decide if you need a reinforcement or not.

The rear tailgate I believe is rated at 133 lbs. Many upgrade the tailgate when running larger tires.
