If the hard top could go into safari mode, that's all I would have. But since it can't, I have dual top. I rarely open up my soft top, and when I have, it's been at night which is really nice. But, I do like to take the rear windows out when I know it's not going to rain over the next few days and enjoy the open cabin feeling. For the driver and front passenger, the AC is ice cold and very strong, otherwise it's enjoying the breeze through the cabin.
I do appreciate the easy of use though of the hard top when it comes to keeping the bronco clean. I take it through the car wash with the HT on. I do it my hand when the ST is on. I also like the look better with the HT, but don't necessarily mind the ST look either (it is a ST after all).
But if Ford had a HT that could remove the back windows, that's all I would have personally. It would scratch both itches.
But if I were a young girl living in Florida, like the OP's daughter....well, the ST would be a must have.
