I was adequate enough at programming that I got pulled from my job on the flight line fixing F-15's. I ended up doing post-flight data analysis programming, SPSS statistics on an old VAX, some network security, and network administration for an aircraft test program in the mid to late 90's.

You made me all nostalgic​

Funny thing is that although I was given a computer programmer MOS in the USAF, I never went to the tech school, I bypassed it. Back in the day, if you could pass the two required tests, you would be blessed as a newly minted Communications-Computer Systems Programmer (AFSC 3C0X2). Good times!

The USAF Electronic Data Processing Test is one of the two tests that you had to pass, and to this day, the passing score of 71 remains unchanged. It is perhaps one of the most evil tests that I have ever taken. 120 questions, 90 mins, each correct answer earns you one point. Everyone who wanted to be in this career field had to pass just to be selected for the training program.

Now, a 71... out of 120 - sounds like you need 60% to pass. Easy day... Not so quick.
Another fun fact is that the network and system admins only needed to score 51 or better (42%).

You have 90 minutes, no pressure, begin.
I scored a 77 and the highest score that I have ever heard of was an 86.

It's an evil timed IQ test and I barely managed 90 or so questions - It is mentally exhausting.

Should have asked, "Well, if you inventory manager didn't come back, who would be able to answer the question?" I did that at the post office once when they told me I would have to come back the next week for my mailbox key, because "Bob was out today". I was a tad more direct, "Well, if Bob were to die today, who would I have to see to get my mailbox key?" They found someone, likely "Bob".

I couldn't easily pull yours up.

No problem. I am a little confused as to why they are taking it to Chicago. They should be able to send it direct from Cincinnati to St Louis. It goes through the interchange yard in STL and is switched there so I see little reason to send it all the way to Chicago for interchange purposes. Going to Chicago adds 4 days to transit times.

It’s a CSX decision so there isn’t anything I can find out about why it’s routed that way.
