One of the reason I wanted to switch from my GTI to the Bronco is to be able to get to more off the grid locations for photography. Sony Shooter, mainly cityscapes, but I love landscape photography as well!

Making my first real dive into action photography at the F1 race this weekend. I shot these with a Nikon 300mm f/4, on a D610 set to Shutter priority at 1/250. Any pros out there with any pointers to get them consistently sharper? They're edited for color and light only, it's so hard to get the light right in the middle of the day.
Kind of lost half the front wheel on the Red Bull amd have this giant black hole. Not really sure that's 100% avoidable all the time with these things... so fast.

gotta share - finally was able to check off a bucket list item - for decades I've wanted to see the Aurora Borealis. So, a couple weeks ago, my wife and I went up to Fairbanks Alaska with the lights being the main purpose of our trip. While we were there, we also got to hang out with sled dogs, got to walk with reindeer, and took a drive to Denali National Park.. it was spectacular. Here's a few pics:

Bringing this thread back from the dead. I daylight as a Machinist and the shop occupies a building with a second floor. Its not used in any capacity but storage for some boxed up belongings. I have refreshed the space to become a Photo Studio... perhaps the .... PhotoShop?
I always do a terrible job of acquiring content consistently through a project and this one is no different. So, ill just jump to the completed space... in a vertical video (I AM SO SORRY)
Testing on animals can sometimes be ok right? Hear me out... Not cosmetics, but lighting! Bella gets compensated very fairly, She gets lots of treats.
Here are a few of the inaugural snaps.
Some more recent work includes loads of Winnipeg Jets, Comedy across Winnipeg, and some local shredders.
And not that I saw much this winter... but I did have a Northern Hawk Owl and a Great Grey Owl

Got the main studio space up and running for now! This weekend I ran a promo and did a headshot blitz for the local comedians.
Now that the majority of the work and studio bits have been assembled, I’ll be turning one of the side rooms into a little newborn photo nursery of sorts. We shall see how that goes in time too!
