This may sound like a feature... but my auto stop/start seems to never operate anymore...

You can view the auto start stop status in the cluster. It will tell you why the car is still on. Usually it gives you a reason like heating/cooling, but it'll tell you what's up.

My 22 BL Sas just went in for a 1000 mile checkup and now my auto/ start stop is inoperable as well

Mine stopped working also with 300 miles on it. Says “Engine on due to vehicle charging”. (Dealer tested the battery and it passed) It’s my thinking that it is probably from the short trips I drive.

But I can’t decide if it’s a great thing or opening the door of something bigger.
