Totally sucks. I'd be willing to wait and get my FE in 2022 to get the options I want. Now they are denying us the options they said we could have, and are now changing the deal.

Here is a question for dual top order people. If I choose to stick with MIC but want to buy soft top later... can I do it? Will Badlands be configured to accept soft top? I read FAQs and if you want soft top now and later want to add a hard top - you can't do it. What about the other way around?

Yes, either through Ford or after market.

Soft top is standard on OBX.

A lot probably chose it because it's free and plan on something else later. I wanted the mod top, but switched to MIC and Sunrider. That's one less thing to push my build back. With today's news, I might actually end up with a 21.

This is so confusing! My wife has renamed the Bronco to the covid car .

I opted for the Black mod top, with this new list it’s not delayed now the mic top is delayed. Or maybe it’s late and my brain has shutdown

So change to MIC, (MAYBE) take delivery in '21 take $1000, apply $1000 to Shadow-Black MOD top when available?...

I don't even know at this point.

Similar plan with my WT, but I will order the soft top and/or White HT later next year.

As I read it, you only receive the fordpass points when you TAKE DELIVERY of a 21MY. So, one could change their order, have their order pushed to a 22MY for other reasons and not get a damn thing, not even the lower cost for the dual-top option. In other words, there will be some people fucked by this maneuver from Ford.

It really pisses me off as both MIC top and soft tops ARE available but Ford will not sell both tops to a customer.

As is, I'm ok going from a dual-top to a MIC only if that is the only thing holding my day 2 reservation from being built in 21MY. But if I loose the cheap dual top option, don't get anything for it, and still get a 22MY..... me and other people will be pissed.
