So I have a FE on order with gloss black top. What if I don’t want an FE gloss black grille with the MIC top so I choose to change to Badlands with MIC top.

Do I still get the $1000 Ford Pass points and the $250 voucher ?

Alternatively, if I keep the FE will Ford sell me the gloss black top at a later date ?

I think the MIC top looks really good on the Badlands in race red or carbon grey. Not so much with the FE.

After reading all 6 pages, to answer your last question, I believe if you want any hardtop other than MIC, you're pushed to order a 2022.

With your First Edition, you won't have the trim called "First Edition", but I guess get the highest "Edition" trim that is available for 2022 ... perhaps the Heritage Edition that is talked about (?).

Great! For being flexible I get penalized! Opted to place my order for a MIC despite wanting to have the Modular top to 1) covert for the dealer and 2) potentially increase dealer allocation. Now I’m still settling for the MIC, but lose out on the credit!

Modular hard top and Dual Tops (either hard top + soft top) are MY22 only.

Just the MIC top *or* just the soft top* are good to go for MY21

*factory soft top only available on 4-door

Take your FE, and buy the Black Modular Top next year. Easy. You still get exactly the same rig, just late(er) availability/delivery of the second top. It's like you're getting the extra MIC top free.

22MY starts production in December 2021 but won’t be delivered until Q1 2022. Nevertheless, I understand you concern about the short model year.

This would be a crap shoot IMO...No one knows if the MOD top available for 22MY will fit the 21MY

Exactly... Going with mic on a hunch to try to make sure I get a my21 with a first week res... And only one deadly sin (2.7) and I guess we don't get the bonus credit. At least we got sound deadening?? Haha. I don't care, I'm pretty easy.

It seems that if choosing to help Ford out with their procurement issue & editing an order to the incentivized change, there’s still a possibility of being forced into a MY2022 Bronco; whereby the MY2022 is NOT eligible for the 200,000 FordPass Rewards Points at a $1,000 value.

This is the way that it reads. Am I reading too much into it? At this point, I’m just not sure.

Levine, I want clarification if this is possible:
If I can get a 2021, I'll take MIC.
If other factors are forcing me to 2022, I want MOD.

I don't want to say "mic is fine", hopeful for 2021, then be forced to 2022 anyway and lose the mod top.

Along those lines, I switched from MOD top to MIC top so I could get MY21, because of the higher packages I might be pushed to MY22. In that case I would want a MOD top, but will I be out of the $1000 offer just because I picked a MIC for a MY2021. It just seems like splitting hairs. They should offer any res holder 1000 off or "Ford credits" to anyone ordering a MY22 MOD top regardless of what they ordered for MY21.
