Back in the day, multi-piece semi-truck wheels would occasionaly kill a tire worker when they seperated with 100+psi in the tires.

That might be the issue with multi piece wheels.
An improperly trained person removes the bead lock ring while there is any appreciable PSI and bad things might happen.

No use for bead locks MOST of the time and I hate the fake versions, otherwise the finish and wheel style you posted is fantastic.
But DAMM they spendy!!

Forgive my ignorance but - I know the Sasquatch wheels are "beadlock capable" but what exactly does that mean? What do I need to do in order to make them actual beadlocks, and is that even necessary?

Well the wheels are finally coming together. My order was custom spec, and therefore a bit longer than an off the shelf lead time. I really wanted him centric and I really wanted better than 0 offset. I don't like my wheels poking out.

beadlock rings came tonight via UPS. If the machine shop doesn't flood (yeah no joke) I will pick up the rims locally.

Yep, that is why they have tire safety cages now ;)

Oh man...I thought you were kidding earlier in the thread. Please be careful...flash flooding kills more people / year than ALL other weather events COMBINED! No one respects flash flooding...Saying a quick prayer for you!

TR Regular Beadlocks are Flow Formed Cast.... which is stronger that just cast wheels. It essentially flows the casting into the mold in one direction essentially. They are a strong off road wheel for cast.

Yep, I couldn't stretch for the USA Forged at $1000+ each.. But these wheels are FAR more than I ever will need. I wanted strong beadlocks that likely aren't very common..
