I could go either way on trail sights vs delete. I have noticed that my dad and my buddy both tend to lean against the front of my truck that is backed into the garage, and both of them put their hands on the trail sights instead of the paint.

I do appreciate that the deletes are aluminum rather than plastic. The $140 price tag seems legit.

It does look a bit 'cleaner' without it... when I first got my Big Bend I immediately wanted to color match the mirrors, handles, and fenders but now they have grown on me lol. I think it's just if you prefer a more refined look vs. rugged/off road look. The one thing I HATE are color matched hard tops.

I personally love the trail sights! All the iconic vehicles I have driven have some feature that "guides" your sense of awareness of where the car is pointing - not that you actually need it, but to me it makes the connection to the vehicle more intuitive and cool. I can't explain why and it makes no logical sense, I admit. The front bump from the fender flares on the old Corvette hood, same with my '99 Miata, '02 MRS Spyder, Boxster and even '94 Supra from the past. The 90's Land Cruiser didn't have it, but after 16+ years of bullet-proof reliability and three kids learning to drive and multiple accidents that kept them safe, I can't complain.

Of all these (and more vehicles) during the past 40 years, the Bronco Brings the most joy!! See photo for one of the many reasons. My 3-year old Granddaughter loves it. If I can keep this for 16 years like the LC - she wants to drive it! Note the G.O.A.T. cap!!

ps I can understand the view of not liking them - which is why this new choice is great!

Are they metal? Not do be rude, I’m just cheap, $140 is high. $140-$165 for some that sat flush but could pop up, I could see. But not for some plastic ones.

Edit: I see they are aluminum, so just a little over priced. $75 and I’m in!

The company that came out with some a couple of months ago was asking $350 or $375 iirc.

Just curious, but how do the sights come off? Do you have any pictures of them completely removed? Thanks!

$140 is a maybe, $385 is a hard no. The only reason the deletes make any sense is because my ditch lights illuminate them, though there isn’t really any glare because of the color and material.

They don't make any sense to me simply because they're not needed lol. I don't understand why someone can't see the front corner of their fender without...... something else attached to the front corner of their fender lol.

I'm going to bet you can still see this delete plug. Quick, someone take a picture of them from the driver's position.

DeeZee made an affordable trail sight delete. (https://www.deezee.com/product/fender-hood-delete/) At $140 for a pair, I finally dumped the trail sights from my hood. Before and after pics:

Not sure why you don't like the sights. Tey give the Bronco a different look and are functional. Why did you delete?
