$140 is way more doable than the $400 ones…unfortunately it still says ‘coming soon’ when I click the link..

I discovered that the trail sights are a grab handle for me stepping up on the front tire to wash the windshield, header and front parts of the mic top. I'll keep them for that reason alone.

Thanks for the link. I just ordered them and they were $113. They only have a few sets left according to the site.
DeeZee’s are going back. Poor fit. Lousy finish. Not befitting my Bronco.

These should come in body colors. I don’t want to have to paint my own and seems easy enough for the company to do. Also, looks like they doubled the price. I can wait.

Edit: looks like they didn’t raise the price. Website can’t make up its mind, but when I carted it said $140.

I don't mind that they come in the same color as the rest of the Bronco trim color. I think it works.

Why would you want to delete the trail sights? They serve a useful function. They mark the position of the tires (except on the Raptor, where the car next to you marks the position of your tires). You’re not going to be able to open the recessed sights once there’s snow and ice on the hood either.

I am still not following the trail site purpose, how is it marking position of the tires? And the vehicle next you?

Thanks,

I think @Stick in the Mud was just being funny about the Raptor wheels because they are very wide.

The trail sights are meant to indicate the inside edge of the wheel/tire. Supposed to be useful when off-roading.

I prefer the hood line of the original generation Bronco. For me, the trail sights look like the sight on a gun barrel and are unnecessary. I won't use them to tie down anything and the fender still serves the purpose of positioning the wheels.

I kayak and those sights are perfect for securing the front of the kayaks. Love the utility and don't mind the look. With the factory roof rack and the trail sights the ride looks right.
Green 2 door non SAS with steel bumpers and trailer package.

They mark the inside position of the tire. You can line up your trail obstacles (such as rocks) with the trail sight and be confident your tire is going to hit them. Except the Raptor, I think, because of the width. Although maybe someone with a Raptor can verify.

I guess I kinda see what y'all are talking about with trail sites but to me it just blocks a touch of vision that I would prefer to see.

As far as using it for a tie down. Unless it is a zombie apocalypse, it is not happening.

Still figuring this machine/ computer on wheels out.
