Does the frame protective cover help reduce wind noise at freeway speeds? I expect not, just curious.
Not so much…
It’ll stop further rock chips to the area though

Maybe??? Looks like it should, but I would hate to tell you yes and it doesn't. Have to wait until ours is ready to go and double check it.
I'm pretty sure as long as you guys also use the OEM shroud on the inside i don't see how it wouldn't work.

I'm thinking the same thing. I'll know soon enough!
Updating as promised...

So I finally got around to giving a good hand wash today. No visible leaks after having tightened the hatches down. However, on the other side of the roll bar, where I'm pointing here, the carpet was wet, and this was the side where the leak occurred when I washed it the first time. Did not notice the same thing anywhere else.

At any rate, seems to be just that corner. Latches are good and tight too. Not sure if it could end up saturating and leaking in prolonged rain or something like that.

@TURN Todd : I know you're using some OEM parts for the wiper, any chance this solution is likely to also be compatible?

I bought that for the MIC 2.0 that I had originally on my Bronco. While the light was nice and bright, I was pretty disappointed by how poorly it fit. I also noticed that there are numerous companies selling what appears to be the same item at much less money, so do your research if it does end up being possible to fit. I know if it does become a possibility I won’t install the Oracle product on my Turn. If it’s going to be poor fitting, I’d rather at least pay less for it :).

had mine for 2 weeks , love everything about it except the odor is still strong. @TURN Todd any idea how long it will be noticeable?

Do you park with the windows down and/or targa top off?

I’ve had my top for several weeks now, and the smell is essentially gone. I never put my windows down or remove the top as it’s too rainy here right now.

If you park inside a garage, leave all the windows down and if you have a fan you can put inside the vehicle, you could try that as it’ll probably help dissipate it quicker.

Mine has toned down a lot. It now has kind of a sweetness to it, which covers the dust from off road... :ROFLMAO:

(actually, I get that same "sweetness" when I first hop in. After a few minutes I don't even notice it)

Edit: Turns out the culprit was the struts. The heads of the struts screw on & off and all of mine were loose. Problem solved!

The Turn Offroad crew was very helpful troubleshooting the issue.

All - I'm trying to diagnose a noise coming from the rear of my top while driving. I'd be grateful if anyone with a top installed could test the amount of play in their rear glass. See video below.

Troubleshooting Steps Taken:

Checked top alignment (front to back) and bolt tightness.
Removed all items from the cargo area and uninstalled the tailgate table.
Drove the same stretch of road with the rear glass open and closed.
Sat in the cargo area during test to isolate the origin of the noise.

The Issue:

The noise/rattle is present regardless of whether the glass is open or closed. You can feel the vibration in the glass at the same time as the noise occurs.

My Suspicion:

I suspect the ball joint that attaches the rear glass to the strut is loose, causing the glass to rattle over bumps (potholes, expansion joints, railroad tracks). The noise has become more frequent over the past week.

Appreciate any insight you all might have!

Just checked mine (as I have a loud rattle coming from the back somewhere)

there’s virtually no play in mine. Struts seem secure and barely move.
( for the record, I don’t think my rattle is from the hardtop)
