Wow! With that coming from another dealer would they even take it back? Seems like the issue/payment/insurance would come from the Carrier, not Ford or the other Dealer. Somebody could swoop in and see if they could get a good deal and throw out the hardtop and order the soft-top and then the dealer could pocket the $20k replacement cost of the HT.

Joking aside, amazing that it was close enought to demolish the roof and nothing else.

They let you drive this off the lot, but those who have seat belt recalls, aka, fingers to fat to easily latch the seat belts, can’t take delivery? BTW, curious to know, did it come with a roof rack? Lol

So this rolled off the transporter yesterday. Dealer exchange from another Ford store. Looks like maybe the driver went under something that was just a little too low. Needless to say, it will be going back or getting a whole new replacement top.

That damage appears to me to be weeks or months old. Its gotten wet and gnarley. Someone doesn't want to own up to the damage. What a shame.

anything is possible, but it has been rainy and overcast here all week. I kindof doubt that it left the original dealer this way and nobody there nor the transporter noticed, but who knows.
