Reading this thread has been helpful, as I don't feel like I'm the only one trying to figure out what's going on with my delivery.

I could use some input on my situation. Long story short, my Bronco was built 12/11, and the original delivery dates were bumped to 12/30-1/5, and Ford Chat has not had any rail car info the few times I've checked. I tried Ford Chat today and they said the last update they have was from 12/12, and delivery is now scheduled for 1/5, and as of 12/12 it was still at the MAP. I finally got ahold of my dealer regarding delivery, and they have the same info. They also said they will know once it actually leaves Michigan through their system. They also had some cute excuses as to why it's apparently been sitting there for almost three weeks waiting to be shipped.

My question is whether anyone has taken delivery without any rail car updates. I have zero confidence in Ford's current delivery estimate of next Thursday (IMO giving inaccurate estimates is so much worse than no estimate at all), but I'd like to hold out hope that it actually got shipped without updates to the dealer. Thanks.

Yes- people have had theirs miraculously show up with no rail car info or Ford even knowing.
Honestly, your 12/11 build will most likely be 5-7 weeks in transit/shipping- if you are using rail. Some have made it in shorter time, most take longer.

Makes sense. I'm as far west you can go... I need to go back to before I got the scheduled build date, i.e. not checking status constantly. Like watching water boil.

Mine was built on 12/7 and still at MAP. Had a 12/24-12/30, then 12/27-1/2 and now 12/31-1/6 delivery dates. Still waiting on a ride. Just think it’s only a 12 hour car drive from MAP to My Dealer!! Can I please just pick it up??

Yes got that 12/23/22 and it was shipped by rail to Atlanta around the same time
It's still in Atlanta waiting on a convoy to South GA about 150 miles

Wow that’s great. My was built 12/7 and still is waiting for a ride South to Alabama.
Delivery dates - 12/13-24, 12/23-27, 12/30-1/6, 1/7-1/13

Gateway yard Illinois and yes still there. The rail car is still being used

that is even a more odd place. This is what I would do. Talk to your dealer and ask them if they can help you to get your zone representative involved. The zone rep has the power to contact Ford corporate and have them do a trace and market as hot. Let him know that you know this and you’re asking him to please do it because of the delay. The only way that Ford corporate customer service or marketing can help you in the situatio, is when your delivery date window has not moved and you were within that week delivery is stated. Ford is very good about constantly moving the date so you don’t run into that situation but it does happen. Therefore, your only recourse is to utilize a Ford zone representative.
