Yeah you’d think it was a no brainer, but the gen 2 (port and direct) 2.7 ecoboost has been out since 2018 in the F150 and Ford didn’t put it in any other 2.7 equipped vehicles until the Bronco in 2021.

Apparently the information I had was wrong.
I looked up the 2025 workshop manual before and it didn’t show the updated 2.3, but it does now.
Plus here is further evidence they did give the 25MY the updated 2.3:

Considering nothing else on the same assembly line (or practically any other Ford vehicle at all) uses a manual parking or emergency brake, I’d say that’s highly unlikely to ever happen lol

Edit: the Jeep Wrangler that I had last week had a Manual Hand Energy Brake. Ford copped so much of the Jeep, why couldn't they have copped the Manual Hand Brake???
