Are you planning (or have you) installed 265/75R16 on your Base Base Model with stock 16x7 wheels?

I am curious about the following if you can please share (just 265/75R16 on stock 16x7):
  • Which tire brand did you install?
  • Was their any interference/rubbing?
  • How is it running with new weight/size?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Following. I’m in the same boat. I’ll likely go for after market wheels, but would like to see what the alternatives look like.

Most are jumping up to the 285/75-16 .... 32.8"
There are a few pics of those floating around.

Yep. I know that it isn't recommended, but here we are.

officially, a ko2 in 285/75r16 has a recommended minimum rim width of 7.5. However, plenty of 4runner owners run that tires on 7.0 width wheels with no issues.

BFG KO2 285/75/16 on base with stock wheels. I’ve only ran them a couple days, but I did make a 50 minute trip (one way) on them, which is likely longest I’ll really ever make. Maybe they aren’t recommended for a 7” wheel, but they seem fine so far.

Does this help the OP or are you trying to flex on him?
Lmao, no shit!
2" lift , aftermarket wheels and 35's.

Looks good though! Lol

From math/value stand point it's either make the 16's work or go the route Willie or hypebeast did, assuming a cheap spacer lift.
Any more than that, buying Squatch would have been a better choice.

2.7/auto. I love the idea of a stick, but I remember my wrangler in city traffic. Pride wouldn’t let me go with a 4 cyl, it was hard enough to do a 6 cyl in my F150 I had.
