I'm looking for a set of rear coilovers near Oregon to test fit on the front of a SAS ...this is for testing and fitting purposes.

Anyone get new aftermarket shocks in oregon and wanta see if this works?

They are not the same, so how do you plan on mounting them?

Upper mounts are identical.
I plan on changing the lower mounts...they DO have the same collapsed length!

The bottoms are not the same. The fronts are narrower with a large rubber bushing and the rears are wider with a completely different bushing.

Well, maybe not. I was looking at my takeoff Hitachis, but the Badlands Bilstein have a different front mount than the Hiachi, so maybe the bushings on the Bilstein will interchange front to rear. Rear springs are wider and looks like it’d be tight to fit them in.

I think there's a way to change the lower mount.

Also the spring rate is different but could likely be swapped for the front. You may be able to use the front spring on the rear shock.

I don't know the Bronco spring specs yet, but typically the front springs are many time stronger than the rears.

Going from memory on my FJ, the fronts were 650lb and rears were 200lb. I expect the Bronco to have a wide spread as well.
