It wasn't my fault. I drove mine for three months before I learned the base broncos had GOAT modes, too.Adding "people who drive in Eco mode" to the list
It's called "Key Alert" in vehicle settings. At least in the Canadian market 2025 modelYeah I definitely forgot to update. I'll have my Bronco again tomorrow morning, and I'll check then
Thanks for the answer. This could be a Canadian market only feature. Appreciate your reply. It's called "Key Alert" in vehicle settings. At least in the Canadian market 2025 model
That sucks if it is. But it seems an even trade for your configurable DRL'sThanks for the answer. This could be a Canadian market only feature. Appreciate your reply.
The 10-speed automatic transmission. I hate this transmission: It is ALWAYS shifting. There are so many scenarios where this thing ticks me off, but the common one is where the guy in front of me at a roundabout hesitates (for no good reason) forcing me to let off the gas for a split second. Then, when I push the pedal back down nothing happens because the transmission is in the middle of downshifting. It creates a potentially dangerous situation where for a second or so, you can't move. I thought I was triggering a crash avoidance system the first few times this happened. Anyway, I don't care what anyone says, this thing has too many gears. It's counter-productive and it tripping over itself. Not to mention, you won't convince me that a transmission that has to shift two or three times as often as say a four speed auto, is going to wear out that much faster. I've always been a manual transmission guy, but I've owned plenty of automatics and none of them have bother me the way this one does.
same for meI can’t say I’ve ever run into that issue, and I’ve owned several vehicles with the 10-speed transmission. Mine doesn’t constantly shift unless I’m repeatedly stabbing at the throttle, which isn’t how I drive anyway. A smooth driver is good driver![]()
American 2022 wildtrak with lux here: I was able to disable that in FORscan. There's nothing in settings on the bronco unfortunately. Most annoying is the double honk if you leave the car running with the key in your pocket. Haven't found a way to disable it, but man is it annoying.
I was wrong. Here’s how to turn it off, even in US. Not just a Canadian feature. That sucks if it is. But it seems an even trade for your configurable DRL's
