Yep. First 24-48 hours.
I waited a whole week and a half (7/23) before reserving, and barring a spectacular series of miraculous events, I won't receive a build date until next year.

Thanks guys. When the website crashed I went to bed and did not pull the trigger until I woke up the next day. Glad I did not wait to discuss it with the wife. That would have pushed me back to the 15th probably.

I was within that 48 hours when Ford replied with my reservation @ Jul 14 at 5:36 PM but time stamped me to Jul 15
