Not today, but Tuesday… dash was lighting up like a Christmas tree with brake problems, figured it was going to be a bad wheel speed sensor, but the dealer deduced that it needs a new electronic brake booster/ABS module.. so she’s out of commission for Labor Day weekend.

Installed the Oracle third brake lights. Glad to get rid of the Ford third brake light. I didn’t like it sitting on top of the tire.

Got my FTM-400XDR HAM rig installed. Moved the Midland GMRS from under the driver seat to under the front passenger seat and put the FTM-400 under the drivers seat.

Control head up on the dash on my Mabett mount.

Luckily mine did this when it was still in the garage, so I never lost any braking capability while driving. And other good news is that the parts will actually come in over the weekend, so that part of the supply chain has some what healed itself.

Would you mind posting a pic of your antenna setup for your radios? Also considering a similar remote mount on my AR BYODR rail for a Wouxon KG-1000G. Really like how clean yours looks.

Currently I am just using a mag mount for the GMRS antenna on the top of my secure cargo enclosure Along with the short antenna that came with my Midland radio.

Both do great with minimal SWR. Was really surprised the Midland antenna was SWR 1.0 out of the box. I had to trim the SBB-7 a little to get it to 1.01 at 146.520
