Well, I was going for a base, sasquatch, 2.7 in velocity blue but ford has rained on that parade and made it >40k so. I am going to option a black diamond the same and get the better interior.

Clearly the latest BP Update has lead me to reassess everything.

I'm still onboard to the very end because I truly want a new Bronco!

However, I've had absolutely enough of Ford's handling of this launch!

I understand how COVID-19 has clearly thrown a monkey wrench into their plans, but they have not handled the adversity well!

So I'm sticking to a minimalist configuration with Ford on my initial purchase and relying on aftermarket vendors for everything else.

I’m either

1. AMB 4dr OBX, 2.7 lux leather. 4.27 gearing steel bumper aux roof rails mic and sound deadening. 33.2x11.1” Cooper At3 xlt upgrade. Roast interior

2. AMB 4dr BL, 2.7 lux MGV. Vinyl wrapped black grille or WT swap grille if offered. Possibly painted parts handles. Swap rails for tube steps.

two builds above are dollar for dollar. Which has me thinking badlands for better stance and resale. I’m really overpaying big time for less content on OBX

If more photos reveal OBX sits too low. Or flares on BL clash too much with AMB, then...

3. AMB OBX sas, 2.7 lux with steel bumpers aux and roast leather.

Switched from four to two door due to price increase and finally realizing I don’t need all of that extra space. Absolutely love how the two door looks also. Everything else is still the same though.

Black Diamond 4 door. Color as of yet nailed down, either CG or CO. If CO then upgraded rims. 10 speed transmission, advanced 4WD, mid package, tow package. Dealer installed fog lights. Depending on if it holds up my build, dual top. If it will, probably MIC with aftermarket soft top. Possibly add in mesh Bimini top and sound bar.

I will be doing my order by phone since I am 3 hours away from Stephens. Probably take the day off work and schedule a time late afternoon. I'll wake up and have a nice breakfast before heading to the bar. You cant drink all day if you don't start in the morning. Order one, two, three, maybe six beers and look through the B&P several times. Get tuned up a bit and call in my order. I don't make sound decisions when I have been drinking but I at least I have an excuse for why I did it. I'm not stupid, I was drunk.

Joking, Maybe? I honestly have not made a final decision. The above may be as good of a plan as any right now. Leaning BL, 2dr, 2.7 AT, non squatch, high but the lower price builds draw me in. Go big and put off retirement a year or two or play it a little smarter?

Almost my exact build, same color, except I’m waiting for the Hothead headliners, staying with the 2.3 and adding roof rails (which will only stay on when overlanding).
