LOL updating my build to:
Bandlands

Area 51
Mic top
2.7L
Auto
Sasquatch
High Pkg

Or

Starting to toy with the idea of :

Things that are still not 100%:

Color: Could also go with Carbonized Grey.

Engine/Trans: After test drives might change based on reviews and in-person road tests.

High-Package: Again depending on road tests and road noise and 12-inch screen.

Thanks. It is helpful to put this in writing.

+ tube doors

We *might* do Sasquatch, she'll have to decide quick -- she just wants the tires and a front locker wouldn't hurt.

As long as the obx roast cloth seats with blue dash make it to production ??????, here is for sure my final build. Never felt more secure about a build before

Either CG or A51. I’ve seen A51 in real life, and hoping to find a sport CG before order time.

Any accessories I’m gonna wait on most likely. I’d hate for some $160 floor mats or something equally silly to delay my build.

Edit:

Mod list:

- Some quality ceramic tint will be necessary. Supposedly there’s clear UV tints for windshields now too.

- Catch can. I imagine the Ranger ones will work. Contemplating flying to Granger with one in my carry on to install right away

- The advertised dash accessory bar. I’d love to be able to my phone and ham head unit up there.

- I’ll be throwing 1-2” of lift on it as soon as possible and 35’s with aftermarket wheels. Right now looking at Relations Race Wheels RR7’s with the steel rash rings on the trail. Cordless impact and a few minutes will get me ready to bash some rocks.

- Gobi Rack for camping. I’ll probably take the main rack off most of the time but need roof space with 3 kids and a dog to house inside the Bronco.

- KC Pro-6 light bar on the Gobi, Chase light on the rear window hinges if I can make that work, scene lights on both sides, probably some amber fogs at some point

- Rockslide Engineering step sliders. Still trying to convince them to use my early Res as an R&D truck.

- Double ARB, hopefully in the underfloor storage in the rear with remote air chucks somewhere

- Really hoping somebody make a better bumper/winch solution. That radar sensor in the bumper is a big pain - wish they’d used one behind the windshield like Jeep/Subaru

- Eventually I’m shooting for 37’s, but I’ll wait for a good mid-arm kit. This is probably several years down the road cause those kits aren’t cheap

- And for fun, a tune and exhaust. I personally think the 4 pot sounds pretty good opened up. Cobb’s mustang is nice

I’m sure there will be more, haha.

Yes there are some high quality ceramic films but one that stands out is 3m Crystalline. Available in very light VLT (visible light transmission) 70% &90% with high heat rejection. From the looks of things the Bronco windscreen appears fairly flat , should not be that expensive.

Yes sir that’s where my research has led as well. I was quoted $350 from a pretty well known tint/wrap shop near me for all the windows.

If I could order one tomorrow, it would be:

Base
Rapid Red

Sasquatch Package
Aux Switches
White non modular hard top

I'm hoping MY22 brings a green color

@Granger Ford
Is the tint and a catch can for the 2.3L something we could have done before pickup? Will the catch can void the warranty? I'm worried about long-term reliability with the carbon build up on the 2.3L.

My final build as of now is a confusing mess of choices, options, price, colors, sadness, regret, excitement, late availability, errors in the current B&P, and tears. All for under 40k!
