It looks like you got some natural poke with the 35s, is that true?I'm running 35x12.5-17 Trail Grapplers on SAS wheels with zero issues.

Just a touchIt looks like you got some natural poke with the 35s, is that true?
But does it really matter?Don't get me started on 315/70R17 not being 35's...
Manufacturer specs are never anywhere even close to advertised when the tries are mounted and under load.
After the tires are mounted and under load a 315/70R17 will be about 33 1/4" and 35x11.5R17 comes in at about 34 1/4". Yes there will be minor differences across brands but a 315 is nowhere near even close to a 35" IMO..

If people and companies would stop falsely referring to 315's as 35's then no it would not matter...But does it really matter?

But if everyone calls them 35s, why the hell does it actually matter? If people and companies would stop falsely referring to 315's as 35's then no it would not matter...![]()
Why are you so upset that 315's are not 35's? A bit odd but hey, you do you..But if everyone calls them 35s, why the hell does it actually matter?
There’s nothing magical about 35”, and nobody is out measuring obstacles and doing engineering on a trail.
As long as a “35” is larger than a “33” and smaller than a “37”, and there are no fitment issues, then it doesn’t make any difference whether a “35” is 34 or 36.
35s aren’t 35” either. Why are you so upset that 315's are not 35's? A bit odd but hey, you do you..![]()
Yawn.........35s aren’t 35” either.
But hey, fight the good fight for 0.1”.
Can’t you read? I literally posted the specs for both. 0.1” difference.Yawn.........
And it's not 0.1" it's a full inch or more which might be important to some...
I honestly do not get why you are so triggered by me pointing out that 315's are not 35's.. Like I said, it's odd but you do you..
Manufacture specs are mealiness.. I posted actual photos with a tape measure..Can’t you read? I literally posted the specs for both. 0.1” difference.
Actually, you must be able to read because you selectively edited the quote.
Just because a manufacturer tells you a 35 is a 35 doesn’t make it true.Manufacture specs are mealiness.. I posted actual photos with a tape measure..
Just because a manufacturer tells you that a 315 is a 35 and they list specs does not make it true..
Now you are just being obtuse.. To the ignore list..
The age old wide -vs- pizza cutters debate..I think tire width is preference. Some say pizza cutters are better for wheeling. I would assume a 12.5 floats better in soft terrain.
