Ahhhh. A mix. I guess. There seemed to be more synagogues than bars; just an observation. I don't recall the drivers there being any better or worse than elsewhere though. I had a Honda S2000 at the time, it was a blast. Blue with blue leather interior (shout-out to the First Edition navy pier bitchathon ).

Salem is awesome! I’ve been up there as a tourist, but I also go up there every year (not this year?) for a kayak fishing tournament. I always have a great time. Now that I have become accustomed to their rough exterior, “Mass-holes” are some of my favorite people.
I live about two hours away in Connecticut.

Always wanted to go to Salem, gotta tell me more about it, might be my plan B with Texas being on the Quarantine list (I personally don't care, more for the gf. Plan C is get a faraday cage and drive on down)

My Dad drove through a Monsoon in Louisiana so he could get to T Coons in Lafayette before it closed at 2:30. It was 12 when we arrived, and I'm talking across the state in I can't see shit in front of me weather going 90 in a loaner Panamera

Its an experience for sure. I was running expedited freight in a box truck at the time. We were taking relief cots and supplies in ordered just in case. I was up on that elevated highway rocking all over in the wind. Got there in the middle of the worst then right as the eye passed over i made it to a truck stop for my down time. Then when we drove out the next day we had to clear several trees off the elevated highway to get through.

Fun stuff.

Right? Those are stories you'll never forget and again, arriving from Mississippi to louisiana as the monsoon hit, I have a pretty good idea of what that was like. (Plus we have a Box Truck in the company, driven it a few times)
