Wow! That surprised me! I drive in ECO because the throttle is less sensitive and I can get smoother shifts through the lower gears with the 10 auto. Yup, I’m a Grandpa!!

Anyone can stomp the throttle to the floor. Driving smoothly takes some learning (as the car learns me?) and finesse.

Edit: I guess only 2 people had responded when I had commented. I thought the SPORT MODE people would take it…..

I use Sport, and not because I'm an aggressive driver -- I have a little over 900 miles on my 2.7L and have yet to exceed 2500 RPM. I use it to lock out the top two gears, since I'm running 3.73's with 33" tires. And I'm getting 20 MPG as a bonus.

Normal. I have a stick shift. GOAT modes are silly marketing if you have a manual.
For the most part I'd agree with that. Sport seems to do nothing, but I've seen other manual owners rave about it.

Don't forget that they affect steering response in addition to throttle response, as well as traction control.

It makes the skinny peddle "touchier" which if anything gives you worse control. In theory it makes the steering stiffer, but I can't feel a difference.

I use Sport mode all the time in my wife's F-150 because I get better gas mileage. But the F-150 has one of those auto-magic transmissions with way too many gears.

I used Eco all the time when I first got the Bronco, but having to tell it to go back to Eco EVERY SINGLE TIME the engine starts, I gave up on it. That and the fact that it makes almost no difference with city driving.

Live a few miles from the beach so everyday it is driven, I use Sand mode. I also use Normal mode on the pavement.

For example, I took an hour cruise down the beach today before the impending cold front. Spent about 20 minutes (back/forth) in Normal mode driving there.

Normal I suppose is the obvious winner since most time is spent on road. Eco and slippery feel dead, Sport and Sand are a bit lively. Plus how can I learn my vehicles response to my inputs if I purposefully tell it to modify its response to my input. That said I will use slippery on ice and I want to try Sand in deep snow.⁰

During a recent snowstorm I believe I uncovered a “secret” G.O.A.T. mode because when I attempted to shift into mud/ruts mode to disable traction control the vehicle made a terrible noise and I lost 4WD. I called it “fainting goat” mode. After waiting two days (!) for a tow truck the dealer told me I needed a new front differential and axle shaft.
So today when I ventured out into yet another snowstorm I just kept it in normal mode and everything was fine. So much for modern technology.

Have you tried every mode? Have you always left it in normal?
