I definitely want a white modular top for my Area51. I think it'll look really good.

My 2nd order is. The whole reason for the 2 orders. Original plan was 1 4dr bronco w/ painted white top. You know, like the one they showed off last summer!

I got sucked into the "Wait for 2022 Mod top" deal. They aren't getting me again.

I 99'd my day 1 res for mod tops and hopes of a heritage edition. I was able to justify waiting a few extra months for MY22, but I can't justify waiting another year for MY23. There are other companies currently working on aftermarket painted tops (ADVfiberglass for example.. And they make killer products with excellent fit & finish) so I'm planning to just go that route.

I started with a MOD top Wildtrak when I reserved 7/30/20. Then shifted to the MIC because I didn’t want to wait til 23MY. Now with the delays and quality issues, I am switching back to the MOD top in hopes that the majority of the issues will be behind us. Not to mention new colors and all of the add-ons that will be out by then.

That will be part of my second order as long as I can also obtain a plug-in hybrid Bronco. Longer trips with less worry regarding fuel storage.

I've put my opinion out there. So far as to tweet Mr. Levine himself. Ford should be putting everything they can into bringing the mod top back before MY23. It's an ace in their pocket. It would take a ton of pressure off the MIC thing. A lot of us wanted it in the first place. Many more would jump on board just to avoid a soft top or the MIC top altogether. They can quietly fix whatever issues there may be in the background, build an inventory and bring it riding in on a white horse to save the day. Hoping it'll make its way back in MY22 even if late availability.

I just want a top.

MOD didn't appeal to me due to the additional cost and weight.

I 99’d my order to get the Mod top, and that was my plan all along. Now my problem is, will Rapid Red be available when this thing is finally made? It might force me to change to the unicorn green I keep hearing about.

I also 99'd my ( day 4 ) WT waiting for the mod top, with the way this shit show was going , I also put an order in 1/1/21 for a Badlands with soft top for now , believing that the top issues was going to take longer then expected, so when they do get mod tops situation straightened out, I will order my Wildtrak when tops become available, 22-23-or even 24
Figured I can sell my Badlands then. by the way I still have no build date or VIN number for the Badlands. Let's see if my strategy pays off ;)

I switched from body color modular top to a soft top in June when it became clear that mod tops weren't coming anytime soon. My order is 99'd until September to ensure I get a hardtop prep kit so that I can get the mod top when it's available. Hoping it works out as planned.
