Coming from MN, Scottsdale felt like paradise (I moved in January). It turned to hell in ten years. Next ten was SoCal (good money to be made there), and now ten years of freedom.

Every time I'm cruising in my Bronco and spot a Jeep Wrangler, it turns into a showdown! They’re always trying to race me or cut me off—what's with the rivalry? 🤔 Is it because we Bronco owners have more engine power and an unbeatable ride? It’s all in good fun, but I can’t help but laugh! 😂
.... stop using finger gestures, and you should be fine.

It's mutual my friend. I've been drooling over your Raptor since you came here. I hate a lot of things, but especially stuck-up people that want to preach to others. In my experience, only assholes force their bullshit opinions on others. This guy would be right at home at bible study trying to "save" all the sinners.
Be careful with beer when you are on the forum, and DO NOT (like EVER!) drink hard liquor when you read stuff here,....trust me. One time my malt went down the wrong pipe as I was laughing my ass off. I had a sore throat for DAYS.
You think I'm preaching, how so? Sure my post was exaggerated but remember the topic of this thread? I never said Bronco owners need to wave or duck, it was merely pointed out something Jeep owners do. I seldom wave unless its a neighbor or an event. In the waving thread I was referring to commenters were lambasting those who wave like they have some kind of mental problem. If you believe this science is not on your side. Again, this isn't about talking smack about 2dr vs 4dr and shit like that, it's all in good fun. There is a lot more insulting and jumping down someone's throat on this site than others like the Ranger. Maybe its because the Bronco is more of an enthusiast vehicle? There are more than a few of us that have this opinion. One guy said he wouldn't attend Bronco Off Roadeo after being on this site because it would just be a bunch of assholes insulting each other. I don't believe this, social media isn't the same thing as real life.

I frequently complement Bronco owners on their rides....usually to get a smile and wave. I drive a 392 Wrangler and The Bronco Raptor Bros are the only ones I have ever had act the way you describe. To be fair, I do not have a row of ducks on the dash, or have a bunch of cutesy crap all over my Jeep. I've been a Jeep owner since the 90's when I could buy my first one. I would have gotten a Bronco, but I refused to pay the 20% over sticker that the local Ford dealerships were asking!

I don't find that to be the case at all. I was a JK owner for 12yrs. I always loved the new Bronco, and when I finally stepped up, the price and availability had stabilized.

I run into Jeep owners all the time, including neighbors and they ask how I like my rig, and I give them an honest comparison from my time in my Wrangler. I had the opportunity last ring to drive a 2024 4dr Wrangler with the same basic milage and trim package. It was a great way to compare side-by-side the driving capabilities. To be fair, I didn't take it off-road since it was a loaner,

I think many Jeep owners are getting tired of how many Jeeps, specifically Wranglers are on the streets now, and they are looking for good alternatives.

This is an easy one. Jeep owners are outdoorsy type and chill. They wave to each other and "duck" each other. They are usually friendly and fun people. Bronco owners? Are you kidding? Go have a look at recent "waving" threads on this site and you know what I'm talking about. Bronco owners have a serious attitude and quick to insult. I'm a member of several forums in this series including Ranger and Maverick and this one is by far the worst. A better question to ask is why would Jeep onwers like Bronco owners? Nobody likes assholes.
Reasonably accurate.

I still don't get the whole duck thing, but have been left a couple on my JL. Waving is a constant, and I sometimes don't reciprocate when I forget what I'm driving.

I did encounter one "lady" in a white Squatch moar door on my way home from work in my JL that thought it was necessary to flip me the bird for whatever reason when we met on the road. Classy. So there's one asshole.

As a former Jeep owner my neighbors try to torment me as much as possible since they all still have jeeps but it is truly in good fun. Last week I was at a St. Jude event and sat down at a table with a couple of my neighbors and another couple. The other couple long time Jeep owners didn't know I had a bronco and they brought up how terrible the bronco is. I simply asked have you driven one or even sat in one? "Well no". How do you know they are terrible?

At the end of the day both vehicles have their plus and minus but there really is no reason for all the bashing back and forth.

This guy that blew off attending Off Rodeo is plain wrong. We (the Bronco owners on this site) are bunch of pussies in person. We are assholes only behind the keyboard, and very nice in person (we don't even use foul language in person for fuck's sake!). Some of us are a step higher from your average "forum assholes". We are called "The Asshats". If you would meet us in person, you would think we're all missionaries.

I’ve got a 2023 Broncos Raptor AND a 2012 Jeep Rubicon with no ducks. Sometimes I find myself cussing at myself. Maybe that’s why. I could never figure it out until I started reading this thread.

There is a term for your condition. It's called "automotive bipolar condition 1". There is an upside though. When you are driving the Ruby, you can flip yourself in the mirror (Mr. Bean style). Totally safe. Nobody will shoot you. AND on the top of that, when you drive the Raptor, you can flip yourself too! How neat is that?

When you drive the Raptor, don't forget to WAVE to other Raptors! Don't bother waving to all those lesser Bronco species though. It was established on this forum long ago that they are not nice people (basically ne'er-do-well assholes that can't afford a marvel of the Bronco lineup called Raptor, so they are green with envy).

Keep flipping yourself off. You deserve it.

I get LOADS of admiring looks from Jeep owners for my 2Dr. Since so many people have the 4Dr, it's likely a wonder about how the heck I hacked out the middle to get down to a reasonable, manageable sized Bronco.

For some reason people aren't happy unless they have something to hate...

You really wanna see some hate, drive a Bronco around a town the weekend of a Jeep Jamboree.

I'm in an off-road club (not a Jeep club, an off-road club) with about 800 members, 95% of them are Jeeps. I have to CONSTANTLY defend Broncos (mainly from a small minority of people) and it just gets old. One guy quite literally hates my guts just because I have the audacity to drive a Ford.

It's really just kinda gross...
Next time he gets all wound up, remind him that the Jeep name is actually derived from the 1941 Ford GP (general purpose). Also, they 'borrowed' the infamous slotted grille. Fords originally had 9 slots and Jeep decided to go with 7 after they copied the design. The more you know!
