The title was cut short on my phone as "Why does the B&P tool mess with my h..."

And I assumed it was going to say "husband". Wouldn't be surprised if someone's wife (mine *cough cough*) came on here to complain to you guys for enabling my addiction

I think the key to making Cactus Gray show color is having lot's of white around it like on the concept vehicle. I just took a bunch of pictures of a Ranger in Cactus Gray on a sunny day and the snow on and around it made it look extremely green in the light, and bluish gray in the shade. Very interesting color, as just about everyone else who has seen it in person says.

Without the white contrast and in direct sunlight I see it as mostly gray with a light green tint at the right angle. With the white in the sun I see tons of green. In the shade or shadows with white contrast I see blueish gray and without the white I see more green.

These are all pictures I have taken and looked accurate to what I was seeing when they were taken. The only way to get an idea of this color is to see it multiple times in different situations and lighting.

I love this rendering in the B&P Tool. But I know that is NOT what Cactus Gray looks like in the real world.

Ugh.

Hereā€™s some pics of cactus grey in the AZ sun, next to a white F150, and indoors next to a white F150. Iā€™ve seen it several times in person and it looks amazing with black trim. Itā€™s definitely a shape shifting color depending on the time of day and the cloud cover. If you like all the light grey options on Toyotaā€™s, Audiā€™s, Porscheā€™s, etc. you will like this color for sure.
