Is it because it’s not capable of towing (unlikely) or because they’re doing the usual attempt to upsell to a higher level?

Better off with an aftermarket class III or IV anyway... Been posted on adnauseum up in here...

I've installed two aftermarket hitches. Should be fairly easy on a new vehicle with no rust in the threaded frame holes. Although have a sledgehammer handy, for some reason the hitch mounting ears come bent or slightly off, had to bash them a bit.
