my wife was raised well/right. Her dad was a trained diesel mechanic that has owned and operated a snap on tool franchise for 40+yrs. The father in law has his 1970 buick gsx...one of like 75 with factory air and just sold his harley.

She gets the toy and use them aspect and can't wait to take the bronco to CO for some rides in the mountains trails. The only correction I get is that it will be "our" bronco when I say my or I...she can't drive manual and she just smiles and says "I have to give you trouble about something".

This is a hilarious thread. I got permission to buy a Bronco partially by doing a bathroom remodel last year I think. She realizes this has been my dream vehicle since I was 17 and patiently listens to all the latest Bronco news each night and I tell her all the funny Bronco 6g lines of the day. Now if we were to start a Mother In Law thread...

My wife hated it at first(looks like a jeep and she hates those). Then she said we can get one if it’s VB(my choice), race red or orange. She makes fun of me for having 2 reservations. Last week I said i’m considering a Raptor instead of a Bronco, so she got mad. Now I think a Bronco with Sasquatch will be her daily driver and trade in her trusty but boring highlander.

My wife recognizes that she has a nice but boring car and fully supports the Bronco...until she found out what I was planning to spend.

She did maintain that she likes that the Bronco could be fun for the whole family and usable long run for a family of 4 as opposed to the smaller faster things I normally shop for.

My knows that I've been wanting another Bronco for years. Had an 84 and 90 before i met here. When the 6g debuted in July she asked me if had one ordered yet. I took that as the go ahead lol

It’s funny you guys have trouble with the wife’s about the Bronco. I have trouble with my husband. He’s mad that I don’t stop talking about it and he wants the BP page up just to make me happy hahaha!

My wife doesn't even know about the reservation... not officially anyway. She probably saw the $100 charge by Ford and knew about the Bronco reveal that I was watching... so she may suspect it... but most likely not.

My plan is to keep her out of this until B&P is available. Once it is, she'll get to be part of this process.

I can understand that, especially with the hype and protective nature of this. Most places have a "proprietary" clause in their handbooks against such things.
Either way, it isn't worth her job to risk it.
We will all be fine here.
