There is- it's called a ford edition.... that is what sent me to the FE.. I know that sucks for those that couldn't get through Ford's buggy reservation system... but I am confident that you can option a Badlands to the same level, but you don't get the Sport mode

I’m curious to see what the hood graphics look like. Hopefully you can delete them if they’re obnoxious. I think it’s going to be tough to make it look any better than it already looks!
Hoping for the same! Want the option to delete if it’s not
I personally would rather not have a hood graphic - seems like fade central after a few years - it's also why I want a PAINTED top - I don't want to have a ridiculously faded top after a few years.
The hood graphics on my 2013 Raptor SVT have held up great in the Texas sun/heat; I was not expecting it to.

What are thoughts on the 35s m/t noise level during highway driving? Anyone have experience with this size and type of tire on the highway. I plan to drive cross country in the Bronco, stopping at the national parks along the way. Need the wildtracks so I can be unstoppable for any terrain but also with highway manners.

That's actually the First Edition, not Ford. Otherwise the only way to get the swaybars is the Badlands.

Currently have a Badlands reserved but thinking that I will change to the Wildtrak. It seems to have a lot of options that I wanted as standard equipment. I love the look of the Sasquatch package but not real thrilled about the M/T tires. Wishing I could get A/T which I would think last a little longer and be quieter on the road.

I just looked at the height of the Wildtrak plus the roof rack (78.7") and the height of my garage. I've only got 3" clearance which is a little closer than I was hoping for. I will definitely have to keep the snow cleared from the front of the garage in the winter.

Is your garage opening the average height or is it shorter? I am about to start building a garage and will need to tell them to make the opening a little taller than average if so.

I don't know for certain, but I think it is average height. The issue with having them make it a little taller, the actual garage door would also have to be slightly taller. Not sure you want to pay for a custom door.
My opening measures 83" and that is to the outside door opening. This requires that the door must open absolutely all the way so it is actually a little taller than the frame. I'm sure some will have to adjust their garage door openers so it brings it all the way up.
I think it will only be an issue if you have the roof rails which increases the height by 3.4" on the 4 door and 3.6" on the 2 Door.

I reserved the Outerbank for more a of family road trip / weekend cruiser, one-size fits all car. No off roading in my future. But did some digging, and sounds like even that is getting up to $50k+ with some options (and still with a 2.3l). Base price is $8k less, BUT the Wildtrak comes with a hard top, so depending on the upcharge of the hardtop on the OBX maybe the WIldtrak is only 5-6k more. Then also take into account that the stock cloth seats in the OBX are terrible looking, and the cloth Wildtrak seats look AWESOME (especially with area 51), that means i may be able to forego the leather option, and BOOM, we are in striking distance of a 3-4k price differential. PLUS a v6 and sasquatch.

OBX 2.3 + leather + B&O + high trim + hard top = $50/51k?

vs

Wildtrak (includes hard top), high trim, stick with awesome stock blue cloth seats, maybe forego B&O = $53/$54k....AND i get the engine, and the looks.

Hard to say until the build and price comes out, as well as the interior seating options. If saddle leather is available for the OBX, then maybe i would stick with the OBX build.

Question - if i am using this for road trips, do you think the 35" tires (compared to the OBX 32s) make a big difference in MPG and road noise?...i presume it will be a 3-6 mpg hit for the tire size, then paired with the 2.7L, i may be looking at (guess we will find out) but another 3+ mpg hit compared to an OBX with 2.3L and 32s. So potentially upwards of 10 mpg hit....as for highway road noise, not sure. particularly with windows up.

...edit looks like i would have to forego power seats on the Wildtrak, as that is paired with leather. Ugh, another concession.

Got our reservations in. Reserved a Wildtrak in Antimatter for myself. Waiting to hear more about the factory 2in lift and 37's. Also reserved an Outer Banks for the GF in Area51. We'll be adding with the Sasquatch package at a later time. She was in the market for a Wrangler Rubicon until we saw the Bronco. Looking forward to it.

Would be great to be able to option Nitto Ridge Grappler 35's so we could have more of a Hybrid All terrain/Mud tire.
