Will there be a 4x2 Bronco?

Better mileage and no need for 4x4 in Arizona...

I used to sell fords back in the day.
A woman won a super base model jeep on price is right. No back seat and 2wd.
She traded it for a contour
Fj cruiser and jeep tried that. Just get a Hyundai Santa Fe.

In the Olden Days, at least in my parts, cost and reliability were the only reasons NOT to get a 4WD pickup. I seem to remember you could get 2WD Blazers back then as well…this in the days of the old square bodies.

Point being, nowadays 4WD is mainstream, reliable and dependable. You rarely, and I mean rarely, see a modern pickup truck in Alberta or BC that isn’t a 4x4.

For those reasons I can’t see it being economical for Ford to build a 2WD Bronco.

Bronco IIs were available as 2wd, basically a sedan delivery with panoramic rear glass, ah, the salad days... Explorer 4 Dr's also came in 2wd and manuals, not nearly as rare as one would think. A friend had one in high school, burgundy over red.

Then no need for a Bronco... Buy a Bronco script and add it to your vehicle of choice.
