Shady AF. And if you call them, or chat with them, they won't give you the sales prices for their vehicles until you give them an email and phone number. Yah, they list the MSRPs on their website, but then it says to call for the actual price... I don't play that game.

Ford was not helpful…. They said they couldn’t do anything for me due to that fact they were an independent dealer. Ford said they could do nothing!

Been a loyal Ford customer for a long, long time, but Ford is starting to loose its "shine"!!!

Yes I misread. I was confused with the first part and and last part, with Rye Ford mentioned in between. I mistook Rye Ford as being owned by Volz also. My mistake.

No worries. It was a long post. Took a long time and a lot of effort to get through it all. And I'm hearing that some other big dealership group purchased the place that I wound up buying mine from.

I think most are aware this is not a unique situation unfortunately, and I think the effort a consumer has to navigate this crap is unrealistic. Its a customer special specific order they place, but not really as there are absolutely no customer rights. You can go down the legal rabbit holes, but that is usually not a great outcome and becomes very time consuming and costly.

In the end you got your braptor, hopefully like the rest of us go out and enjoy it and not dwell on the crap it took to get it even if it cost a bit more.
